Tapestry

What is Tapestry?

Tapestry is a secure online Learning Journal to record photos, observations and comments that build up a record of your child’s learning experiences and achievements.

Teachers use Tapestry as an assessment tool – linking play and learning experiences to the relevant curriculum frameworks in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.

Tapestry also allows us to share this information easily with parents and carers.  Parents and carers can also upload photos and comments to share with teachers the learning that happens outside of school.

Tapestry is easy to use and can be accessed on the internet or through downloading the Tapestry app on your phone or tablet.  The internet address is:

tapestryjournal.com

The app can be found by searching for Tapestry on the app store.

The following documents include guidance for using Tapestry on a range of devices as well as a copy of the presentation from our Tapestry parent evening and a copy of the Tapestry privacy policy.

If you have any questions about Tapestry, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
